CEFA secures Early Works Agreement with APA Group

CEFA has executed an Early Works Agreement (EWA) with APA Group and Horizon Power for the provision of services in relation to a new Mount Magnet lateral off-take point on the Mid-West Gas Pipeline (MWP).

The Mount Magnet off-take point will support CEFA’s Mid-West LNG Hub, which is expected to be constructed in the Mid-West town in 2020.

APA as the operator of the MWP will commence works under the EWA immediately with key activities being the preliminary facility design, development of project schedule and preparation of documentation for procurement of long-lead items.

Completion of the MWP off-take point works will support CEFA’s target date for first LNG deliveries of second quarter 2021
